Back in Lille!

Thiago, a Brazilian friend, celebrated his birthday last Friday
in Estrella: a student-residence-turned-party-place-at-night hahaha.
Definitely was a great time to destress after all the presentations and exams that week.
Mexican party the following night with the same gang, except more new faces. I love meeting people from all over the world every single day - sober or inebriated, that is.
Drinks, games, and dancing at Santiago's. FONDO FONDO FONDO!!

Brothers from another mother(s)

Okay so every week there's at least 3 parties happening - regardless of a project due or an exam the following day. Everybody seriously just loves making fake birthdays or nonexistent events so we could make parties. We pre-drink at someone's flat, move to La Traviata for more pre-drinking, end the night at Smile club or Tonight, and wake up 2 or 3 hours after for our 8am class. You gotta love the morning after, if you catch my drift. ;)

French Carnaval > Italian Carnevale

I was in Italy two weeks ago for the winter holidays, and it was amaaaazing! Instead of doing Rome, Barcelona and Portugal like what was initially planned, I settled for Venezia. Who wouldn't wanna miss the famous annual festival in Venice, right?

I travelled without my OFII, btw. Had I been caught, I would have been deported back to the Philippines. But you know.....this lady's got charm! Ha! ;)

Come night time, met up with the Mexicans at Piazza San Marco and started drinking and getting crazy with our little bottles of vodka

Locales in costumes

3 days in Venice, a day in Milan, a day in Verona, and a day
in Barcelona - I just didn't want to go back to France!

Six days after I got back from Venice, I went to Dunkerque for another carnaval - but this time with everyone on exchange!  and boy it was hell CRAAAAZYYYYY!!!!!
Everyone had to dress up silly - and that includes boys being in dresses, having lusciously red lips, and having boobs bigger than anyone's!!
I swear I will never look at these boys the same way ever again hahaha

Of having whiskey & vodka for breakfast, being drunk as early as 11am, trying to be kissed by random old men as tradition, being moved by the crowd without even touching the ground, and freezing like a naked baby --- legenfuckingdary  ♥

The carnevale in Venice is NOTHING compared to this. Legit!
Definitely one of the highlights of exchange!

After 2 months...

I have exactly 80 days left in France so I'm going to blog and just blab (...or at least try. you know i'm lazy!) about how each of my day goes. There's been to much happening and I just can't wait to tell you guys about it! Definitely having the time of my life here!

I can't believe I'm almost halfway through
my Exchange Student Program. I remember receiving my acceptance letter from the International Office a few months back, and now I'm actually already here. La vie est belle!
