Europe In Manila?

aaand I am back! It's 4am and I randomly just feel like writing again. I'm back in the Philippines by the way, in case you haven't stalked my Facebook recently.

A lot's happened since my last post 7 months ago. I miss France; I think I always will. Still quite hungover of the European living even before my plane took off and that moment I was finally breathing MNL air, but it's good to be back. Especially that as soon as Fall arrived,
so is the new set of DLSU exchange students. Although they are not the friends I had in Spring, just the thought that I finally have them to share my longing for my own exchange semester experience was enough. It feels like I get to wind down this stupid post-erasmus depression once and for all. We all clicked instantly, over a few beers and sisig. It's only been a month but these French, Mexicans,  Australians, Germans, Austrian, and Spanish lovelies
sure have become Filipinos by heart already.

Lille: Week 10

Ever tried having a full-course meal....in 3 different places?
Appetizer in one flat, main dish in another, and dessert in another? and running around
the city like hungry pigs clueless of where the destination will be? Well, I did.

Wednesday night we had RUNNING DINNER! It's basically all about eating,
meeting new people, and getting drunk (as usual) even before the appetizer comes.
Clever clever idea! This was organized by the genius French men from the International Club in my school in IESEG.

Three teams @ Laurent's flat, ready with their dishes and definitely ready to attack!

Appetizer over at the Americans' apartment, with Helen's team.
Czech soup was my favorite!!!!!!!!!!!!

Roxanne's birthday with everybody!

team Czech + Turkish Su

one of my first good friends in Lille. Jana, from Czech Republic

At the end of the night, all of us gathered in one flat after all the eating and running around in the whole of Lille to share our experiences, or let's say brag about how each one of the teams got fed by international cuisines from different teams. C'est bon!
